Jessica joins ValSource with a noteworthy level of scientific and FDA experience, focusing on a wide range of drug and device products. While at the FDA, Jessica specialized in the development of novel and emerging technologies and found creative solutions to meet regulatory requirements and expectations for products and processes that do not fit neatly into the established sterility assurance paradigms.
An expert microbiologist, Jessica’s notable accomplishments with FDA include projects to align international standards, establishment of new regulatory expectations for sterile and nonsterile manufacturing, and work with high profile projects of US national interest. She has broad experience with manufacture of sterile and nonsterile drug products and has additional public health experience with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Department of Defense.
In her new role at ValSource, Jessica aims to expand microbiological controls and safety within the pharmaceutical industry. “I am impressed with the diverse expertise of the ValSource MSAT group and look forward to utilizing my regulatory experiences to help facilitate sound microbiological product and process development for sterile and nonsterile products,” Jessica stated.
